Verdicchio is both the name of a white wine appellation and the name of the grape from which that wine is made. Versatile and sneakily complex, these whites hail from the Marche in central Italy with Matelica being the more inland and mineral driven version (Castelli di Jesi being closer to the coast). Cantina Valle Tritana displays an inviting flinty minerality, golden apple and citric fruits as well as a toasted walnut note on the crisp, food-friendly finish.
